I have worked my way up to Master Arch and am doing a little of this and a little of that (PA Halls, heavies, furniture). I have had several requests to do Interior design (7 house's so far) which I must admit is fun to do, and offers me a chance to do something besides missions and building. So far I'm set at a rate of 20k an hour and 3cr per on whatever materials I use. I think I'm selling myself short at these prices and was wondering if anyone else is doing this sort of thing and what kind of pricing they are working off of.

I'm not an architect or interior designer but since no one else is replying....I've heard of some interior designers charging up to 160k for doing large homes (bout 3 hours of work) & mostfighters can make well over 20k in an hour. Although I have been playing on flurry a while I would be fine with paying at least double that an hour.

I basically charge them the cost of furniture (50k or more up front) then I'll haggle after its done. I've seen people who do this regularly, I'm going to start to now it's one of the fun things for me, that charge 150-250k per large house. Although I think that has furniture in there too so it depends on how cluttered you want things.

300k for a medium
400k for a large
600k for a PA
or more depending on how expensive of a design they wanted..
I dont do interior design anymore.. its very VERY time consuming... altho i had people to pay double my rates if I would do 'one last job' for them..

I've decorated many homes/shops with unique aquariums, fireplaces, displays, etc...I enjoy it to a point but I'm a perfectionist so it takes a great deal of time to decorate a room. Because of this I generally only decorate for myself and fellow guild mates but I do recieve alot of requests to decorate and generally I simply tell them up front that they couldn't afford me. If that doesn't disuade them I listen to what ideas they have for decoration and then decided if it's something I'd have fun doing. On occassion, I'll take the jobs that sound like fun to me. Generally, the price starts at 500k no matter the structure (price includes all architect made furniture), this is generally to deocrate one large room only. The reason for the price being, I can spend 15 mins making three PA Halls (300k) or I can spend eight hours designing someones store/shop for them...I've just got more interesting things to do than run around creating copies of work I've already done that people want in their shops too...unless they're gonna pay a million creds for it. =)
