Doh hit enter

Anyways......

Whats the max BER on harvestors

Mediums:

Chem:

Gas:

Flora:

Water:

I hit 10 on minerals, but when i make chem with same resources i hit BER 10 minerals with i can only hit BER 9's for Chemicals Is that the highest i can reach?

Please help

Thanks

From the FAQ, which can usually be found someplace on the first page here, at:

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=architect&message.id=40861

It says this:

===============================

Q-3.10: What is the current max BER of each size harvester?

A-3.10:
Personals - 5 (?)
Medium- 10
Heavy - 13
Fusion - 14 (currently)
Wind - 9 (?)
Solar - 8 (?)
================================

And then it says:

===================================
Q-5.5: How do I make a BER 13 heavy / BER 10 medium?

A-5.5: You have to use good materials for the main mining part and during the final combine. The materials for walls, storage modules or generator turbines do not matter. Ore mining units, Light ore mining units, Turbo fluidic drilling pump unit, fluidic drilling pump unit, Heavy harvesting mechanism, harvesting mechanism are the mining units. The materials should have high Heat resist, Shock resist and Unit toughness. The formula is HR + SR + UT + UT. That number should be as close to 4000 as possible. The mining unit should be highly experimented and in the 90's. The medium level units should say BER 4 on the schematic and the heavies should be BER 6. Whenever the schematics call for a chemical, you can use lube oil which does not have the stats and therefore counts as perfect.

=================================

If you can make MAX on one type, but not another, ask yourself two basic questions:

1. Is my "mining" component (e.g., ore mining unit, fluidic drilling pump, etc) experimented as high as I can get it - preferably into the 92-96% range?

2. Are ALL of my resources during the final assembly absolute top quality OR lube oil? Sometimes one harvester won't need ore in the final, but another type will. If you use junk ore in the 2nd one, you'll be screwed. So it's not enough to say "I used the same materials" - at some level, there *are* differences in the schematics - look at those differences.

I've hit six with full experimentation on the personal extractors...

Gotta hit like 48% though.

You are saying that you get BER6 on a personal mineral harvester? Or BER6 on a wind generator? Which one?

Great!

Yes - I think that you'll find most of us saying "get your mining components into the 90s". The same thinking will work on heavies. And make sure you pay attention to ALL of the resources in the final assembly.

I have a BER 16 fusion.

Friend told me I got lucky in finding it. Guy had it on his vendor for 75k... I snagged it real quick.

Well i got my BER 10 chemical medium today. I have figurred out what went wrong. On the fluid component thing there i only hit 81% i went back and played around and hit 94% on the next 8. So i made 8 medium chemical harvestors tonight. Along with 10 BER10 medium minerals. I wanted to work out everything and see what i need before playing with heavies. I think if i do the same thing i may make a few BER13 heavies next week.
