Thread: Architect or Weaponsmith?
/agree
That's why I left Arcitect, to pursue Armorsmith which I find fun.
I think it really depends on what you find fun. Architect seems to be about finding high concentrations of resources which are not that specific, and using those resources in massive quantities to produce a 'standard' product (I know that's not true of harvesters, but of the rest). Once produced, one generic small house is as good as another generic small house. As a result, all architects tend to be in demand and there never seems to be one round when you need one.
On the other hand, weaponsmith is about finding very high quality resources of very specific types. If you'd like more of an idea - check out this thread: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Infinity&message.id=2563
Although there are plenty of master weaponsmiths around on most servers who've made it through the grind, one weaponsmith's pistol can be SO much better thanks to a better combination of resources, and it can sometimes be really frustrating if you 'missed' a rare spawn or a good quality resource.
Depending on what you like hunting for - quality or quantity, will depend on what's for you.
