Seems to me around 2 credits per, but the little I see on the Bazaar is 4 credits.

Anyone have an opinion?

Price of ore depends on the price of stuctures. If someone can't sell a structure for 4c/resource they obviously aren't going to pay more then 4c/resource for the stuff to make it. You might be able to get 3c/resource but it is far better to just mine other things and sell to other people. All other crafters get at least 6-7c/resource for their stuff so they can afford a little higher price if they need to buy extra.

Well, that's true, but other crafters seem to use a lot less stuff. So the real 'input' is time and talent, not just stuff. E.g. for probe droids, they're maybe 1500 resources, but there's tons of time involved.

For us architects there's such a large number of resources that resources are the main input.

Still, I wonder whether there's people selling Ore etc. I just added up all my resources, and selling pwoer at 1 cred and ore/steel/etc at 2 creds I have half a million in cash and prizes.

Maybe I should stop doing those stupid 2500 cred missions?

FWIW it seems to be 3 per unit sometimes, but usually 4 per on the bazaar.

On corbantis this is what I see.

5-10 - Bazaar for all resources. Ore usually cant even be found on the baazar cause its in such high demand.

from mining corps. 4-9 - 4 only if you buy in huge quantitys

and then we get to sell hour finished product for 3 if we are lucky.

I bought 40k from a guildmate at 2, then realized I was low on funds and a new ore popped anyway.

I get 3-3.5 for steel, and 1.5-2 for power. I see ore for sale at 4 but I'd never pay four, I'd just do without for a while (120k to Master Architect, I can wait).

I think I might just make myself some large harvesters and start selling ore and metals full time. Ore for 2.5 and metals for 3 and I'll make 50k-75k a day in profit.

Alot of the information being presented here is misleading.

Here are some numbers for ya:

Cost of goods for ore is about .67 credit per and the cost of goods for fuel is about .17 per. This takes into account maint cost, fuel cost, amortization for moving and amortization for the over all cost of the harvesters. In this case, I'm basing it off of all large harvesters .. since they yield the most. Oh, and no T&E ... time and effort is calculated in ... since that varies largly between toons.

There are two types of buyers. The crafters who are selling their wares and the crafter that are crafting for xp. Crafters for xp will use anything to craft with that they can get their hands on. They generally do not buy ore for very expensive prices. 3 to 4 cr per seems to be about the highest they will tolerate. There are exceptions of course. Particularly from future PA's helping to power skill their crafters up. They usualy deal in bulk. Don't like to by in units less then 5k and about 6 cr per seems to be their high threshold.

Crafters making goods to sell, like weapon and armor, they buy in small quantities, but for much much higher prices. I've seen copper with 3 prime stats for weaponsmiths over 850 sell for 20 credits per for 500 units. And, you couldnt' give them junk ore if you put a gun to their head.

Toons buying bulk resources for 6 or 7 or even more are buying crafting experience. You are not selling them ore in as much as you are selling them time and effort. They craft while you mine and they get funded by others, or selective sales of premium items they manage to pump out.

As time goes by, the scxp buyers will shrink, drying up what has been a lucrative market for some. Soon, and it is even starting now, selective mining of superior resources is growing in fashion. Those people that power skilled themselves up to master real quick are going to face a huge amount of competition here shortly. Then you shall hear the voices cry. Already I have friends bragging about making 50k a day mining and selling resources are now complaining about storing the stuff and trying to unload it.

If you want to make money in the mining business, get yourself some smalls and mediums and go after superior quality resources and sell in small quantities only ... unless you can find the rare buyer for 50k triple 900 named mineral at 10cr per.
