After much testing with my solar power generator, mineral harvesters, equipment factory and Medium home I have figured out the problem with maintenace rates.

The harvesters will diaplay the status as such:

Maintenance pool: 3000 ( 2days 2 hours )
Maintenance rate: 30

The rate listed is correct. The time listed is NOT. The time lists based on the rate at every half hour. The maintenance rate is not per half hour but per 20 minutes. This is why they are using up credits faster than expected because the time listed is wrong. The actual time left on the above should read -

Maintenance pool: 3000 ( 1days9 hours 20 minutes

I hope this helps every one figure out their maintenance costs. Just multiply the rate by 72 to figure your cost per day.

And always remember - Have Fun!!

that makese sense. I figured out some of my other harvesters about a week ago and I remembered that the rate went by 15 min. Looking through my notes I found the ratio on a Mineral meduim miner of maintence 30, It was for every 1 credit I got 1 minuite. Which would be 1440 per day. This is based on the time viewed.

I dont use solar power generators so im not familiar with the bug people are expereincing. With my mineral miners I have always got the correct times.

Or you could just remember that a small takes 720 cr/day and a medium takes 1440 cr/day.

There is an actualy bug where an extractor will sometimes use double or even triple the normal maintenance it is supposed to use. Has something to do with the fact that its not really there unless somebody is in the vicinity. the structures actually just simulate the time lapse. At least this is what I'm told. I have experienced the over charging bug though.
