I cannot seem to be able to load a schematic into my equipment factory. In fact, I don't even see an option to do so. Under 4, options, I only see two choices. The "in" hopper and the "out" hopper. Do I just use my schematic from my datapad? Or do I need to make one somehow. Any help would be appreciated.

Thats the problem. I can't load any schematic. I am getting no option to. It should be under options, right?

Yes, it should be listed on the options tab.

Are you the owner of the factory or just on the admin list? If you dont own it, then it may be a continuing problem with the admin permissions bug. Only other thing I can think of is make sure you using the right schemetic for the right factory, however you should still see the tab. You might try picking up the structure (redeeding it) and place it down again, its possible it got bugged somehow. Last ditch effort however is to submit a ticket on it for CSR intervention and assistance. If you were on Starsider, I would tell you to come visit me and we could try placing a different factory to see if its just your character or a factory problem.

Thanks for the help guys, but still no luck.

Tell me if I am even doing this right. I redeeded it and placed it again, to see if that worked. I still have no option for schematics under options. LEt me ask this. Will the option always be there? Or do I actually need a schematic? And speaking of schematics, it is jus the schematic off of our datapad, right? I don't need to make one or something like that. Basically, I just want to make droid storage containers, while I make mouse droids to gain exp. And the factory is an equipment factory.

Any help would again be appreciated,

There's the problem. You have to make a schematic.

Use your specific tool, while standing next to a public or private crafting station. Midway through the crafting process, you'll be given a choice of "Make a Prototype Object", "Make a Manufacturing Schematic", or "Experiment". Choose the middle one.

Instead of making an object, a schematic will be placed in your datapad (on the Data tab, where the waypoints are stored). This is the thing you have to have in order to access the factory schematic list.

Ooooops. KK, heres the dealio. I have had the same issue for going on about two weeks. It's not some lack of intellect, or not knowing how to use schematics, or any of that crap. The factory itself, just does not give you any other options than Access input Hopper & Acess Output Hopper.

Here's what I've done so far.

1) Made a completely New factory (Didn't work)

2) (Obviously) Picked up the factory and re-placed it.

3) Given the factory to someone else to place, and they got the same problem, only two options appearing under options.

4) Sent in a bug report. No information returned in any fashion, and can't see where this is being worked on at all whatsoever. It apparently is not effecting everyone, and therefore does not seem to be gaining any notice, and probably, they have made the same assumptions that Tommm here, and I are both complete idiots.

5) Put in a ticket to CSR's, and got an answer saying that it was a global issue, and everybody was experiencing the same problems. Strange, all my friends are enjoying their factories that Schlok built for them.

6) Quit being an architect in hopes the fix would come soon as the CSR's said it was a global issue. Well, apparently its not a global issue, and only a few remote few are experiencing this. I could have used those heavy harvesters 2 weeks ago. I've been hoarding resources as I planned on grinding out the last couple of boxes needed assembling the components for the PA hall. This issue is completely devasting to a high end Architect, and therefore needs immediate attention, and resolution.

7) My wearables factory has come under the same problem.

8) I noticed a bug fix for problems with the same resource from multiple resource containers, and am sure that is what clogged up my factories, as I had started a schematic before I had finished surveying all the materials, and the factory was faster than my surveying, so when it ran out I finished surveying the needed materials, and put them in the factory, and restarted it. The process finished one shy of the schematic, and ate the final resources, and since then my factory has been non functional.

are you using the proper factory? if you don't have a schematic for the factory you have it won't give you the options on it.

if you have a structure factory you need structure shematics

for equipment you need basic like weapons, weapon powerups, etc.

clothing - armor and clothes

food - food...

You have yet to say that you actually created a schematic.

The schematics listed under Draft Schematics will not help you. I still have no idea why they are even listed there.

You have to craft a schematic at a public station. It will be under the Data portion of your datapad after you craft it.

You have not told us WHAT you are trying to craft. You have to use the correct factory for the schematic to work.

This isn't a bug. When I go to use a factory and I did not make a schematic at a crafting station, there is not an option for it. I then feel like an idiot and run inside the make it. One note on the schematics, you make make them for 1000 by typing in that number. The slider only goes to 100. Not sure if that is a bug or a failed attempt to nerf schamatics.
