Hey all.

This has probably come up before, but ive spent about 20mins looking throught various boards, and cant find a comprehensive list. So....

Can someone tell me what each building requires, i terms of lots. EVERY type of building. I'm trying to plan ahead here

Thanks

If you take the time to actually read the FAQs stickied on the top of this forum, you'd read that city buildings take...

Q: Do civic structures take up the politician's lots?
A: No. Civic structures are associated with the city, not the mayor.

That's not what he asked.

He asked how many lots would the buildings take, and some do. (cantina, med facility, etc)

Best way to deal with the tall guys is to give them incentives to lick the ground. And dont look down on me that way youre not THAT taller.

I believe I saw somewhere that the Cantinia was 6 lots. Hospital, probably the same...

I guess it would help if the original poster used the correct terminology. Building Footprint is what this question is referring to; Lot size and footprint are two separate terms.

I guess it would help if you stoped trying to be such a smart @$$. I asked about lot size. I did say city buildings. not City hall. So if your not going to help, get out of the way and let somone who will post.

Also thanks to everyone else who posted.

actually I think he is more asking about the physical size of the buildings... like 4x5 or something like that. it appears that the theater and the Medical centers are the size of medium generics. the front of the theater is on the skinny side and the med center would be on the long side(generally add an extrarow on the entrance side of all buildings)

The shuttleport is the same size as the current shuttle ports except they have an extra blank lot on one of the skinny sides, whish is the side the terminals are on as opposed to the standard shuttleports we currently use which the terminals are on the wide side

The cantina is about thesize of a Large generic that has the entrance in the middle same entrance location.

The bank is the size and lot placement of a personal wind generator.

The merchant tents take up one lot(square) like a personal extractor.

The art pieces, lamp posts, terminals andall the really small things can be placed anywhere including next to a building or inside a structure(to my knowledge).

the gardens work on a platform so they take up an extra lot all the way around.. I was hoping to put the corellian paths together to for a longer path but you'll have steps leading away from each of them instead. the actual garden IS at ground level, but they laxed the flat terrain requirement so you'll get steps leading away on the downhill side of structures. Its kind of confusing to read but its a good solution to the hill problem of placement without leveling terrain to an endless flat zone within cities.

sorry thats all I can really help with, I'll be doing some better measurements later tomorrow.
