Just wondering if anyone had tried to do heavy mineral harvestors in a factory? I don't really care about the 30k resources used in the scematic. The amount of crit fails I get is horrible. 70% at best are 13 rate the rest are either 12 or 0(crit fail). Just curious if anyone has tried to do this lately. The biggest run you can do is 13 harvesters I believe with 100 walls.

Yep I only do factory runs because of this. Its much cheaper than failing all the time. Just pray you get a good schematic the first time !! Just put in all the parts , have to be identical and press go.

Excellent thanks. Just wasn't sure because 3-4 months ago I know it wasn't working. I just assumed they broke it more since.

I'd think a factory run of 98 would be possible. 7 runs of 99 wall mods. Label them wallmod1 thru wallmod7. When building your schematic, use 1 wall mod from each run. This is my first visit to the architect forums.. was thinking about this last night and just happened to come across this msg. Sounds feasible?

Thanks.

You dont need to do that. It will pull from crates of walls just fine now. And the wall modules do not need to have the same serials at all, in fact, you can hand make the walls if you desire.

The walls don't have to be the same serial number for harvestor factory runs? Never knew that...

No they don't which means all you need to do is make a large run on: ore minung units, small struture storage mods, and generator turbines. Base your schematic on these subs and also the resources you used to make the schem and you can move on any order care free. Long as you store all these resources away so you don't run out of them faster than you were supposed to by using them to make other structures.

Hmmm walls work now then do they....that is good news...

Thus the only limiting factor is hopper space. If I want to make a run the most I could do is about 30 as the 60/100 hopper spaces taken up with ore mining units...

Still..not bad for one run..I shall try with something simpler first methinks.....

The key is to be sure you have enough of all the resources and parts to make quite a few on the schematic.

SET IT ASIDE. Don't use those turbines and small structure storages for other junk, you'll regret it later.
