During my grind i did generator turbines. 2900 xp each (a tad more in practise mode) is not too shabby. Though houses give about 8 K to 10K xp, making a sub like that is less of a headache. If you need something lighter try grinding ore mining units. 1260 xp in practise mode. 520 steel and 75 inert gas for each of them. Better than the gen turbines that take more in resources.

If you need money then Walls are the way to go, you can actually make money, or break even, just making walls.


Generator turbines might be nice xp per unit, but there are too many types of resources involved (reactive is a pain, carb ore not just any ore, copper, alum, chem I think), and no real market for them.
