I can provide resources at 1 credit/pu as long as it is not ore.Do you think there is a market aimed at this profession for everything else including power. Thus enabling architects to free up lots to concentrate on getting ore for themselves.

Any input is appreciated.

If your on Naritus, your a rich man =)
I'd be willing to pay 1/1.5 credits / resources on Steel, Aluminum, Petro, and some others that are used in lessor perportion.

If your aiming at Architects, get like 10 Heavies on Steel and sell it to us at 1.5, We'll love you for it hehe

Well if thats the best price you can manage then I suppose I might be interested. If you're on Kettemoor send me a tell.

Architects can use : steel, aluminum, copper and iron in pretty heavy bulk.

Very rough esttimate: strucutres use 25-33% metals, 60-70% ore and 5-10% chemical / gas.

e.g. for a guild hall we need about 1k aluminum, 500 copper, 15k metal and 650 steel which is about 30% of the total resource costs.

You would definately be a rich man. You wouldn't be able to keep up. IF I could get resources for 1cpu, I would buy much more than I do and concentrate on ore only. Since we can only sell for an ang. of 3cpu, having to buy at 3CPU doesn't help us but, I do it when I have to and ONLY when I have to due to a crit and having to fill and order or something.

I wish there was someone like that on Bloodfin.

For 1 cr per unit you would sell everything you got out of the ground. On a good spot your cost won't get much lower than .25cr per unit as an average. Here is the math; 1 fusion gen on 80% spot, 8 heavy mins on 80% spot. This is a generous estimate, but it could happen :-). Cost to run these will be 18,720 credits a day. You will pull up 64,512 units of material per 24 hours of continuous use. So you should see approximately 50k of materials a day (we get to pay maint when the servers are down, but gather no resources during that time). If you sell the 50k resources for 50k credits, you will have made a profit of 31,280 a day.

While that seems like a lot of money, if you are a decent PvEer that's 3-4 missions and an hour at most of work. Here is a piece of advice from a Master Architect.

1) Spend some time researching the materials that the other professions need, Armor smith, Weapons master, Doctor etc... You need to know what these professions need most. If you insist on servicing architects, what i see most architects not mining is reactive gas and copper.

2) When a very good resource pops, not just the rare stuff, just somethign with very good stats which you nkow another profession needs, get on it first day and mine it. Stash most of it away for 3-4 weeks. As people are running out, haul it out and sell it to the higest bidder.

3) Track the resources on your major planet and nearby planets religiously. I track every resuorce shift on Naboo 2 times a day. When somethng new shows up, either me or a friend samples it to see how good it is. I drop personals on new materials to use as a sample, then destroy them after I sample.

I sell installations, furniture and resuorces. One of the key resources i sell is Reactive Gas. Every architect needs it. Amost every installation will need this medium and above. It is an ingredient of Generator Turbines. The specific strategy i use for selling eractive gas is this. When reactive gas is on my planet, I put it up for sale at 6cr per, so 500 untits for 3k. I sell completely out of 20-25 auctions every other day, sometimes every day. When reactive Gas has been off my planet for 2 days, I raise the price to 7.5cr per, so 400 units for 3k. It takes exactly 200 reactive gas for a generator turbine ...

Soyou can sell for 1 credit per resource. If you are on Tarquinas, I will buy every resource you pull frmo the grouond at that price ... period.

On the other hand, there is no reason that you can't sell the asme material for 2-2.5, 3, 4 or even 5 per depending on what you mine and how much research you are willing to expend.
