Thread: GUNGAN STATUES OR SWOOPS?????
you are correct...vehicles are general artisan xp...and if you can make them then you dont really need anymore
the best architect grind is structural modules (500 xpeach) or walls (1000 each...which need 10 structureal modules making them a total of 6k each). The reason these are better than gungan heads is that you can actually use wall modules once you move up into a high level and eventual master architect. So you wont have to throw away or try and sell all those statues
Also, *most* crafting gives xp at a rate of 2 points per 1 unit of resource burned. So when you make a wall (3000 resources total) you get 6K of xp.
The vehicles are different - you put in 4K - 8K (if I recall correctly) of resources and you only get like 1200-2000 of crafting xp. So they are *really* crappy ways to even get general artisan xp.
If you are a Master Artisan and want to get to Novice Architect, I think that grinding small harvesters is probably still your best option.
Walls and Statues give about the same XP (talking Walls and Structure modules here btw - 500xp per sm and then the 1000xp for the wall itself). Walls are infinitely more useful and can be soldto other architects.....preferably to someone who's apprentice you are. However, statues are quicker to do than walls and do take far less resources.

Statues ARE quicker, in that you burn 3000 resources and get 6000 xp in one operation, rather than make 10 structural modules and a wall using 11 operations. However, both approaches burn *EXACTLY* the same amount of resources. You burn 700K resources, you get 1.4M xp, you get to Master.
Ok. To spend the rest of my skillpoints, I decided to dabble in Architect. I also decided to try out the Gungan statue method. I can tell you forcertain that you only get 5000 xp (5250 xp in practice mode) for each statue, not the 6k I was lead to believe. This was not 2 days ago. I was greatly disappointed. Anyone know why there would be a discrepancy?
Thanks and take care!
