In the history of earth there was a period called the industrial revolution, this was a facinating time where people worked in factories creating things rapidly and much faster than ever before. This inovation has been refined and automated as time passes, becoming ever more efficient in how they are run.

Now we reach a time of interstellar travel, energy guns, and other wonders, what happened to the industrial revolution? Factories have somehow become inefficient, slow, and costly.

I am currently creating 200 turbine Generators in my factory this will take a total of 7.1 hours, i could make these by hand in probaly and hour or two obviously not in factory crates and i would have to manually click in the resources but why is my factory so slow?

With the way they work the exp at 10% for factory run things speeding up factories would not effect game play it would just make it a little easier to craft thing when you need to make factory runs.

I may just be lazy and want thing instantly as many people do but this is one thing that is rather annoying to me, when i want to make runs of furniture it is more apparant than anything else.

I shall make this the end of my rant for now ....

how about people riding around on giant chickens?

or having to light your house with torches?

or having to manually carry power from the power station to the equipment that needs it?

etc etc

SWG seems to have one foot in the future and one planted in the past
