I'm not an architect, but I am a BE who currently has a million houses to keep all my stuff in. I was thinking the other night that it would be cool if architects could craft basements for houses. These would take up like 1 lot or something comparable to their storage capacity and could be placed on any house. This would mean that you could up your house's storage capacity without having to get another house. Of course, your maintainence would go up, but I think the benefit would be to have everything in one place.
I don't know if you guys have thought of this (probably have, or something similar), but I thought I'd share my idea with you.
I'd also love to see you guys be able to experiment on lot usage and storage capacity on buildings. I think that would bring a lot of interesting challenges for you guys
and bring a lot of good business your way.

Of course this idea has been through this board numerous times. Architects probably suffer from lack of storage as much as any profession. Having ventured out into WS and AS myself, I just want to add that the Architect crafting complexity is really "dumbed down". There arent very many variables, we need more of a way to distinguish quality products other than just BER.

I like the idea, especially since it stays within the lot limit idea, while helping to cut back on the urban sprawl. If it was coded so that the basement didn't load until someone entered the house, it would even help cut back on server load. A win-win situation for everyone I'd think.

I see 1 problem,,,,medium naboo houses already have a basement...hence making this a problem (unless you want to add a second room in the basemment...)
