Thread: Do items (crates) delete from the output hopper if you leave them in there for a while?

Just wondered. Or the ingredient hopper for that matter. Anyone know?

I (and some of the other architects and craftersin my city) have left crates and inidividual units in the input and output hoppers of all types of factories for weeks at a time and haven't noticed anything disappearing, etc.

So far I have not had anything disappear from hoppers, and I am quite lazy when it comea to emptying them. You can be sure that if it happens somebody will be posting on this forum that they have had items go. I have never seen any so I think it is reasonably safe to assume they don't.
