Thread: Critical Failure PLEASE READ THIS!!!
I am master Architect, I am spending a lot of times harvesting very high quality ressources, and made myself very high end quality crafting tools, I keep making very high Critical rates on my creation, I m wondering if the system of critical isn t bugged, I mean is a master architect using + 42 stations, +15 (14.94) crafting tools suposed to make like 14 criticals in about 15 min ?
I am aware of the 5 % critical chances on each creation, but It seems to me that I am making way higher criticals rate, I'd like you to tell me what is the Developement team opinion about this.

Interesting, I too am a Master Architect. The last few days have been..well..strange. using the same resources I have used in the last month to get BER 13 and BER 10 harvs I am suddenly getting 11 and 9 when I don't get a crit fail making them useless. I've crafted on a 40+ station in my house and on a public station and still getting crits (2 in a row on the public station in Theed) much more than 5%.
Anyone else seeing strange or baffling results? BTW, I got a ton of exp pts too - master artisan, master architect, and master merchant. I made 2 heavy floras today and got a whopping 11 out of them and 2 hvy gas processors a day ago and got 10's on those. Before I get some answer that says use good resources and subcomponents, I am. BER 6 ratings on sub's and ore 950+ in UT/HR/SR. Metals with 925+ in UT/HR/SR. All stuff that I used last week to make BER 13 heavies and BER 10 mediums.
I live in a metropolis with the research bonus to it,but I'm not even sure it even gives me any kind of bonus. I'd question whether or not this is just anotherbroken facet in the game.
I've had the same problem as Barney on a few combines - using the same stuff I always have and getting a BER lower than what it should be. I haven't had too many critical failures on experimentation but both myself and our PA's Head Architect have been getting up to 3 critical failures in a row on initial combines. That is just nonsense.
It's gotten to the point where if I get a critical failure then I just quit crafting and go kill some stuff instead of risking that I'm going to get 2 more in a row.
I have good crafting days and bad crafting days.
A bad crafting day gets stopped after the crits hit 25% of failed experimentations, a good crafting day is when the crits drop back to the standard <5%. Though most of the time if I can do what I need to do with 4 rolls of the experiment dice - thats' enough for a schematic and into the factory it all goes.
Hand making stuff is just not worth it anymore in my opinion.

First thank's for your's comment, well i have see some nice thing from Chef Profession who boost rate of success on any crafting or other who boost assembly i have try some but can't said really if it's give me something !!! But all this let me mean that the Dev team count on the chef Buff to solve the critical problem, but i have see announcement for the next Patch "Publish 7: Droid Invasion"seem that they solve this !!! We have to wait this news patch to see and perhaps in waiting try some special Buff craft by Chef if only we can have a complete table ( i have no look in forum to see if i found something about this, thinking to go and take a look )
