Thread: BER: 14 Fusion-Ion Generators

I made a run of these last night, using my best resources for the sub-components and the deed itself. When I made the schematic, the BER was 14 imediately and could not be experimented, only storage volume.
Does this mean I could have used crap resouces and still acheived a BER: 14...???

no. use crap resourses and you will get a ber 10 or 11 FIG that you cant experiment on..
on going issue that is well known about, yet unexplained by seo that FIG's can not be experimented on (its BER i mean). 14 is the current high that you can get a FIG to go to, so you did not waste good resourses.

Hopefully you did not use your best resources for all the sub-components, only the OMU matters, other sub-components such as the gen turbines, structural storage modules, wall modules and even the ManufacturingMechanism can be made fromgrind quality resources, not a single stat on these makes any difference to the final assembly.
(edit) You only need to use your good stuff for the OMU and the final combine.
