I am returning to the game after a stint of inactivity and would like some insight from fellow architects about the changes in the game, all feedback is welcome!
About me:
Started playing at release on the Lowca server, am a Master Architect, Master Tailor, and Master Artisan. I quit back in December.

I re-read the FAQ (Nice work btw) but still have a few questions:
Did the Success / Failure rate get changed?
I remember people failing guild halls and large homes… What a nightmare!
Is architect still profitable?
Any thing else that you may think is handy to a returning character.
-Thanks

Standard disclaimer: The economy varies a lot from server to server.

We no longer have critical failures on structures. Now when you get a crit failure you can just hit OK and complete the assembly as if it didn't happen. Also I believe they changed the failure rates a while back so masters have better quality results.

Yes it can be. Things slowed down after the hologrind died off but there is still a lot of business out there.

Yes, failure did change, if you get a crit on structures you no longer lose everything, you simply try again with what you had put in the station. A blessing indeed.

Thank you both, this is good news!! No more wasting 10K resources on a single click.

Crafting experimentation changed for the better for one day, then all the whining weaponsmiths threatened to quit and the devs caved. Oh well.
