I can customize my speeders, I can customize my droids, heck I can even customize my armor. So why can I not paint my house in the colors I want. I am tired of seeing all the houses look the same.

Welcome to our world! 
We're still working on getting the ability to place planet specific structures on 'other' planets. That and a few more styles to choose from. The favorite idea so far is the modular house concept so that we can build it unique per customer. But we are not going to hold our breath. Just be glad that we got the up and down command (after a Long time asking for it) that allows for better decoration choices. Heck, we'd be happy with a better handling of space vs. lot usage.
