I know most architects feel left out thanks to the new house, I have an idea that should bring in work for those who like to play architects. I know alot of hardcore faction players that would love faction based decorations for cities (vader, emperor statues and banners of rebel and imperial shape) and maybe a factional looking town hall and guildhalls with the right banners out side and maybe the insignia carved in stone above the entrance.

I think if they add limited schematics to buy at faction recruiters for this would it open up at least a little more buisness for architiect, If it involves factioned paintings also so would the art collectors and those who want paintings on there leaders in there house also buy them.

This is my idea on how to involve the architect abit more, i know it needs even more then this but if they introduce this is it a step in right direction, reward stuff that is looking better and got better stats then crafted isnt the way to make a dynamic economy.

./agree that would be cool. I also think that Architects should make the bases personally. This might help with the overkill of these all over and also be fair to us to help bring a bit more stuff our way.

Yes the faction furniture and bases would be great if they was architect build. I see it is alot of things we can think of in the faction area that can be done.

Giving bases to architects would do one of two things.

It'd cause the number of actually played Architects to blossom.

It'd cause every guild to keep an architect on staff to produce bases, and not just houses for new recruits.

Let's face it. An architect is a very seasonal job. Once new-game-launch season is over, it's time to hang up the hammer and chisel.

And remember, bases don't NEED decay...just enemies.

PS. They should do so as a recruiter acquired, tradable, schematic.

Let people continue to spend their hard-earned faction on one base, or let them buy a schematic good for three or so. Resources are easier to acquire than stormtrooper scalps anyway.

I have a question though, how does someone who has all of their skill points distributed into crafting gain faction to buy these items? I know my crafter can do no combat and that is the only way i know of to collect faction.

Well, a Tradable schematic could be given them by a combat class character.
A high ranking official could /delegatefaction, at some loss, then the crafter could buy it themselves.
And...you could always do deliver missions...

Any new schematic would be great at this point.

Be aware that the transfer ratio is less than 1:1. The higher your rank, the closer to 1:1 the ratio is. As far as I can tell, this is the only real advantage to high rank in game.

edit: Also be aware that you have to be overt, (Special Forces?) to do so.

Yeah my crafting toon is a 4-3-3-3 imp pilot but i get bored with piloting sometimes since ive had a hard time with the damn mission to get me past where i am now. And last time i went overt in space some reb was camping the imp space station and killed me in 1 shot. pissed me off so i just do missions out of yavin for loot and cash. did not realize any1 could delegate faction to someon other than a smuggler. gonna have to try that with my combat toon when i get home from work today.
