Thread: Question, Suggestion, Help Please
I guess no one has any answeres for me? LOL
I made fushions and heavy mins yesterday np...still cant get BER 13 on the Chems /sigh
Yeah. Are your turbos experimented as high as possible up in the 95%+ range?
Try making new turbos and make sure you get them up to 95% range. Your schematic might have gotten goofed up some how.
I would recommend you read the FAQ.
From the FAQ, note the underline bold points:
Q-5.8: How do I make high BER heavy / medium harvester?
A-5.8: For a full guide on this topic see the following thread which is in development:

Here is the short answer:
Making BER13 heavy / BER 10 mediums:
You have to use good materials for the main mining part and during the final combine. The materials for walls, storage modules or generator turbines do not matter. Ore mining units, Light ore mining units, Turbo fluidic drilling pump unit, fluidic drilling pump unit, Heavy harvesting mechanism, harvesting mechanism are the mining units. The materials should have high Heat resist, Shock resist and Unit toughness. The formula is HR + SR + UT + UT. That number should be as close to 4000 as possible to hit BER13 / BER10. The mining unit should be highly experimented and in the 90's. The medium level units should say BER 4 on the schematic and the heavies should be BER 6. Whenever the schematics call for a chemical, you can use lube oil which does not have the stats and therefore that stat is not counted in formula.
If you are interested in increasing storage hopper size then Malleability of the materials is 33% and Unit Toughness is 66%. So finding good HR + SR + UT that also has decent MA will give both high BER and high Hooper sizes. However be aware that experimenting the hopper size can result in a failure that will possibly also reduce BER ratings.
Making BER 14 / BER 11:
Everything above for BER13 / 10 applies. PLUS...
But to hit BER 14 / 11 you need an Architect inspiration buff from a Musician and the best material possible. Your resources will have to average out to 981 quality or higher. They don't all have to be >981 but if the average is then thats enough. Equal amounts of a 979 steel and a 985 iron will be good enough. The quality of materials needed will not spawn frequently and your server may not have them readily available.
You'll first need to make the mining part and get it up to BER5 for medium or BER7 for heavy. To do this you'll need the inspiration buff and at least 1 amazing success during experimentation.
ONce you have the BER 5/7 mining part made you'll need to use it for the final combine. The materials in the final combine also need to be 981 or better quality on average. You need to have a buff when making the final combine as well and also need to get at least 1 amazing success during experimentation. To hit BER11/14 you'll likely use up 9-10 of your experimentation points.
Q-5.9 : I used to be able to make BER13/14 heavies but now all the sudden I can't and nobody else on the forums is complaining. Did the last patchbreak it? Whats going on?
A-5.9: #1 Use lub oil for the chemical. #2. Make sure your resources are high HR, SR and UT in the 900 range. OQ does not matter at all. #3Try making a new mining component schematic from scratch. #4 you have to get all 'great success' or 'amazing success' during experiementation to max BER. If you are getting any poorer experiment results then that is not 'broken' its just bum luck.
