An Advanced Probot should require the Private crafting station and a Weapon/Droid/General Tool. If you've met both of those requirements make sure there is no Droid near you with a different crafting station in it, as that can cause interferance.

I am just starting out my career as a weaponsmith. After just obtaining Intermediate Munitions crafting 1 I noticed that two of my schematics were missing. When I open my weapon crafting tool, while standing in front of a public crafting station or not, the schematic for Medium Warheads and DXR mines (I think that's the name) do not appear anywhere!

I am following a guide which helps me reach Master quickly, and I was prepared to craft warheads for a while since they are supposed to give 178 xps per build. I even had the materials prepared. Just in case it matters, I am not using any Macros and I really just want to reach the Master level so my weapons will be in higher demand.

I was just wondering if this is a common problem or if anyone has any suggestions?

I have submitted a bug report but I thought it wouldn't hurt to check in here.

I think you should try standing in front of a private crafting station instead of public.

I'm new to DE and I've noticed that some of the droids that I have tried to build call for components that I can't find in any of the schematics that I have...Am I doing something wrong?

What schematics are you looking for? Are you using a W/D/G tool? Are you using a Public/Private crafting station?

In addition, some DE parts (MANY of 'em to be fair) require components made by Master Artisans. In particular, Electronics bits like GP modules, Memory modules and Micro Sensor Suites.

Now add to that: Some of our schematics call for 'generic' kinds of items, and there are several different parts we make that will fit those spots, that are not named the same. These include basically all of the droid functional modules, which fit into 'socket harness' slots in the schematics, but are named for their function.

Hey Rho, how is life without any combat skills? I saw your template in your sig, and was wondering. I'm master artisan, master DE and master fencer. I can take care of myself in just about any situation with the fencer skills. Now, I'd love to get into merchant, but I worry about being meat out on harvestor runs and such. I've definitely seen where harvestors are magnets for aggro spawns... much more than coincidence would allow.

Hey RobbPilot,

I wouldn't worry, unless you put you havesters in the Krayt dragon valley you should not be in too much trouble. I have had no fighting skills and manage to greatly prosper in the DE profession.

I have relied on others for Meat, bones and hides. The most trouble i have had is a few random spawns that made it difficult to get to harvesters.

Now I have a city that is in a great location and things couldn't be better...

BTW - my main business was Lok Wheat, I had a house on lok and plenty of havesters (if that is not a nightmare for ya then I don't know why you would worry.... LOL)

It's a lot easier than it used to be!

Back when I was a young and poor, and had to run all my own harvesters, I occasionally ran into more trouble than I could handle. Sometimes I could find a helping hand, often I could not. More than once I let harvesters sit an extra day before I could get to them, and I learned to keep more than enough power and maintenance in them.

Then I got more established, and at this point I only even HAVE two harvesters running, because I haven't got the lot space. Purchasing resources is a lot less dangerous, albeit more expensive.

Once vehicles came out though, well, one never actually needs to get OFF one's vehicle to do harvester maintenance, and it's dead easy to escape most trouble.

To be PERFECTLY honest though, I do have marksman pistol 3 trained, and I've got about 50K of the 70K needed to train marksman pistol 4. Once I drop scout entirely, which I planned to with mounts, then with vehicles, and now plan to do once vehicles can be called anywhere, I'll be free to train that last marksman pistol box. With a good FWG5 loaded with a 33%/16% max/min damage powerup, I have not actually had a death in a long, long time.
