Why did I become a architect? well when I played on radiant combat became stale, PVP was more greifing and blackbarring then competition so I took my alt in the winter of 2004 and became a architect. I hate crafting but I found the architect crafting and grind to be "ok"
For me it is a change of pace, I log on and start taking inventory, I also did a really good buisness on radiant so when I decided to move to valcyn a much smaller server I thought I was in trouble, once I set up my shop and stocked up, sales were still just as good if not better then on radiant. I work off 2 factories, and craft alot by hand. When I am having a stressful day crafting somehow calms me down, afterall I can craft faster then finding pvp.
Architects are IMO few and far between, as we are not supposed to be a high end money profession, not like AS or WS, but my sales are in the 5 - 10 mil range per week on average, which my money goes into buying more loot to decorate my store with, I plan on opening a second location and I do all this without crafting crafting stations or harvestors.
Why did you become a architect? and why do you enjoy it?

I like crafting, and architect was an area I could break into easily without having to spend months building up resource stocks (since, for most items, resource quality doesn't matter). I had plenty of credits from my first account to use as a nest egg, so buying resources wasn't much of a problem.
Now that I'm a master architect, I like building structures (large/medium homes, civic structures, guild halls, etc.) I've done some furniture to pay the bills but I don't enjoy it near as much, it doesn't seem like it's "architecture".
I'm planning to start adding DE as well, as that was one of the main reasons I bought the game in the first place, now that I'm getting a little bit of cash from Architect (nowhere near 5-10mil/week though).

I took up architect to build my own house, I quite like self sufficiency, and Im quite pleased to be able to look around my gaming area and say I use nothing that isnt made by me. I like making my own harvesters whenever I feel like it, if I want a new house I dont go looking for one, I build it right there and then.

I have yet to find another crafting profession I enjoy. I just can't get into them. But Architect I dove right in and love it. I started enjoying architect even more after I started my interior design business. The more new ideas I have or see, the better crafting becomes. There are so many cool things you can do with the furniture and components! And once I got out of a city mall and started a shop on my own my business has grown enormously. So I'm having a blast

I am a arhcitect for several reasons. One since I started arch I used it to get millions, however after awhile I started fighting, so then they nerf fighting of course..lol..soI respec back to arch. Then I found it nice to be able to make some money again so I kept it. However I do not see how you can make 3mill a week no to mention 5-10mill I mean common. I have been a arch for msot of the time I have been here and I the most I got in a week off of arch stuff was abour 2.1mill or so...never 5-10mill........lol if you don't mind can u tell me how you do it???

How on earth do ya make that much on Radiant. I'm lucky to sell a chair a day anymore with the architect invasion.
