Thread: structure factory question
To besafe and foryour wrists you should make them in the Factory.
Saves on failures also.

No.
Why is it showing BER 0for the Factory that I created?
Wecan only assume its a bug.
Experimenting on factories doesn't seem to do anything. Some people have theorized that experimenting on the storage size helps avoid a certain bug but I've seen nothing more than rumor on that one.
At any rate, by pulling up the factory radial and selecting the ingredients needed, as you did, is one way to find out what is required. It will list exactly what is needed to make whatever the schematic is. You then have to insert all the required ingredients into the input hopper before activating the factory. You can also see what is required before ever putting the schematic in the factory by pulling up your datapad and looking under data. There you will see all the schematics made by you and that you currently have in your possession. When you select one of the schematics with a single click you will see on the left a list of the ingredients required to make that item.
When your factory runs out of a particular resource the email should specify exactly what.

Ok it sounds to me like the problem is identifying exactly what resource your schematic needs.
The factory 'list ingredients' option will give the specific name of the resource, e.g 'hobe'. but it won't tell you if thats a copper, inonite intrusive ore, carnivore meat, etc.
I often make a schematic for somthing then forget exactly what resources I used. Like if I've got a bag ful of grind ores and metals and make a wall schematic and the ingredients say 'ikothem' and 'quadisitism' then I have no clue which metal or ore those are in my bag full. So I just have to click on each one in turn to find the ones with those names.
Sometimes it helps to narrow it down by looking at the schematic in your tool to refresh your memeory that this item takes aluminum and steel (for example) then you cna just look at the aluminum and steel's in your bag for the named materias in question.
No easy solution really. /shrug
