OK... SOE has these things in game already. I seriously doubt anyone grinds FP JUSt to get the factional furniture. So why not make it craftable? Anyone?

I tend to grind out the fp for it and bug smugglers to get the imperial table, but then I do probably need an intervention in regards to things like that. The devs have said that they want to give crafters a role in the factions during the GCW revamp so odds are when that rolls around in the next 3-4 months it'll come up.

I still say let the crafters buy (unlimited use) schematics with fp's and let everyone else buy a component they can bring to the crafter to have turned into the item.
Crafters spend fp's to earn the schematic, everyone else spends fp's to get the component, crafter charges money to build the item. Everybody wins.
If you quit the faction, you lose the schematic.

Actually, a great idea would be for players to buy limited use schematics for bases that Architects need to build.

No, faction furniture should not be craftable. Faction perks are already a joke, Armor is nothing but decoration, same with uniforms. Pets... please an excelent way to waist faction, even At-St is a joke in PvP and that's 9k faction for a human. The only thing faction is really used for is rank, furniture, bases, and turrents.... but hey what good is rank? Well if your an imp the stupid serches take less time and you never get caught. So that only leave furniture, bases, and turrents.... And how many people really by bases. Take faction furniture and make it craftable and faction becomes even more pointless.
If anything I say make it nameable at most, but other than that leave it alone.
