So in order to place things in my container in my house I need to put it in my inventory? Don't make much sense since I didnt do that the first time around. They were empty when I placed them on the floor and then filled them up with items.

This happened after the "Big Patch". I used them for the same purpose -- storing resources in a neat manner. Now,I use packs to do the job. I would much rather use the big white containers.

Cheers!

There was an exploit with containers within containers, I don't think you can put any container inside another container anymore?

The large white containers are actually worse then a satchel or backpack, because it has a volume of 5 and storage of 20. Satchel is volume 1 and storage 20.

I am curious about something.

Are we or any other profession able to make containers? the big white ones that sometimes drop locked of a mob.

Also. Why are we able to make chests and similar items, but they have no storage capability? To me a chest is a storage of sorts.

Another thing that is bothering me is this.

I bought 2 open containers from the bazaar. got to my house, placed them on the floor and filled them up with stuff I didnt want to carry around or have in floating backpacks.

Next day I figure I clean up in my backpacks and store all of the same resource in one spot, rather then having it spread out. But this time I can't add to the containers I placed in my house. I can remove items from them easy enough, but as soon as I try to add things I get a message stating "You have no access to this container" or something to that effect.

Anyone experienced the same thing?

I've seen that you cannot put item into an unlocked container in your backpack. I can only assume this was to stop some exploit or another. Doesn't quite stop any exploits though since you can pick up the container, put things in, then put it in your backpack/drop it.

True.

Containers can hold less and takes up more space, but I personally think it looks better with a white container on the floor of my house, then a flaoting backpack somewhere in the house.

Now if we could only make them ourself or have other items that should be able to hold items (chests, armories and such) I would be happier.

But.

So they prevent us from adding to the containers to deal with the exploit. Not the best way to handle it, but probably the easiest. just hope they get around to fixing it soon.
