I have a factory, I loaded my schematic and the ingrediants needed to make sim-b's, my factory is set to make 40 sim-b's, the factory will run for 5 to 10 minutes then shut it's self down making only 1 item. The items placed inside a crate. I can't remove the items from the crate or use the sim in any way.

My problem is why's my factory shutting down I have plenty of resources in the ingr. hopper .

My second ? is can I place ingrediants inside crates or do every one of my ingrediants must be out side of a create. To make sim's it take 6 parts and it would be very time consuming to have to unpack a few undred ingrediants from crates.

Every ingredient in the input hopper must be out of a crate. For best results, call up the Ingredients List after you put in the schematic and put all the raw materials into the input hopper in the order they are on the list, then all the sub-components in the order they are on the list (all of the needed first component, then all of the needed second component).

Factories are very finicky to run right now, hopefully they will fix them soon.

Good luck,

Factory crates in the input hopper supposedly work for some professions. They do not work for architect items, and probably not for medics judging from some of the posts I've read.

Make sure youare usingthe exact same subcomponents as you used in making the schematic. If the schematic shows a serial number when you examine it in the datapad or list items on the factory that means the subcomponents must all be factory made as well as the one you used making the schematic.

Factorys stop at 100 items at the moment, but hopefully that will be fixed in the patch today.
