Thread: How do I place items on tables?

I have no problems positioning furniture with the Move Forward-Back/Rotate commands, but when I try to place an item, like a desk lamp, on a table, it goes right onto the floor.

If your house has a stair case use it to adjust height. If not sorry there is no command for up or down as far as i can tell.
