Has anyone ever found such a thing? Just wanting to know if my searches for that "holy grail" are worth it?

Yes, I found a 70% Carbonate Ore site on the Radiant server,a few weeks after launch. But Lok is such a freakin' zoo, and it's so expensive to get there, that I'd rather use a 60% site on my home planet Naboo.

I had a nice 75% spot before the last resource shift on Talus (Corbantis). Now I'm settling for 63%

Yes, though anything over 60% in my opinion is a good site for Ore. The highest I have been on is 75%. I was on a 72% ore site this last week on tarquinas / naboo (just left today). Interestingly enough even with a heavy, the difference say between 60% and 70% site is 6048 vs. 7056, which is just over 1k units. My approach has been to look around and place in the first 24 hours if the site is 60% or more.I could spend another day looking for that awesome 75% site (if it even exists), but I would miss that first day of harvestif I kept looking.

ive found a 78% before...it was all luck...my harvester was mining from a 71% steel location, then the resources shift one day and BAM...78% low grade ore site...pretty lucky if u ask me

Best I've found is a 71% carb ore spot that popped on Naboo Saturday or Sunday. Found it within about 4 hours of that shift, not too far from the house of a friend, and in a big flat fieldso I got lucky all around.

Once I found a 73% site about 1 KM SE of Keren on Theed... and I was the first on that one. 2 hours later, it looked like Pittsburg and you'd be lucky to land a personal within 300m.

I found a 70% ore site ONCE, it was on Rori (Valcyn) and was in the mountains with no place to put a medium harvester.

I'm not sure, but I think something like this would be worthy of a bug report, what do you think?

I have harvested carbonate at 73% once, but it is pretty rare

I found a ~70% spot, but it was directly under Daj Neek or whatever (that city in the mountains just north of Moenia), so I couldn't mine it. Not a soul there, no shuttle. Was so quiet you could here a church mouse fart. Not to hijack the thread, but why does that place exist anyway?

Yes, I have found 74% spot..then next shift...73%.

Theyr'e definitey out there. and not all that rare. Uncommon, yes...rare, i would say no.

70% ?!?!?! man you guys just aren't looking. In my PA we don't set down unless its atleast 75%, not worth it otherwise. Unless its ultra good material.
