Thread: Why 2 lots?

Forgive me if this has been asked before but I am really really perturbed about this issue.

Why is it that structure factories use 2 lots?

We are the only class that will ever use these factories and we are also the only class that needs hundreds of thousands of ore and other resources to make one item. Maybe we dont need more lots than every other class (though I would debate this) but why would we be penalized more?

Simply put why are Arhcitects being punished that much more???

Your post is pink heheh

The current system is just a patch to keep people from overloading the system with structures ..... they allowed us 75 lots during beta and it was causing database problems and system crash due to all the extra inventory space. I have been proposing overhauling the entire lot system to help maintain a lot cap but allow the classes that need the lots to get the lots.

beware very long post. heh

If that was true then you would think wearables and equipment factories would use 8 lots. Those factories add much more items to the database b/c they are easier to produce. It isnt like most Architects have the means to mass produce homes...at least none that I know of do.

This has to be a bug. There is no explanation for why it would use 2 lots unless its b/c the dang thing is so big.
