So we've had 2 differing statements on teh maintenance rate for the merchant tents. Masterjedinick said it was 10 cr/hr and Swg-albert is now saying its 12 cr/hr.
Who's right??

maybe both are, it could be 12 without Merchant and 10 with, same as maint changes on other structures ?

You are right. I was looking at my cost and since I am a master merchant I get 20% discount.

What skilld do you get the 20% discount with? I thought it was the efficiency IV skill which is the same one rquired to drop the merchant tent in the first place. Or do you get 20% more with master? Or maybe one person didn't drop the tent?

20% at Efficiency 4 is the only discount.

The Master Merchant Discount is 20%. You also get a discount on structures at Efficiency IV, but the full20% discount only kicks in at Master Merchant (total discount, not an additional 20%). On my structures when I show the status in-game it states the modifier as "Master Merchant Discount 20%" I am not sure what the increments are but I do remember at one time my discount less than tnat at one point- It was either only 15% or 10% on strucutres at Efficiency IV (I think 10% but I really don't remember as I have beena master merchant for over4 months now).
I have another account that is merchant 4,2,2,4 so she will be master merchant soon. I canverify what the discount levels are in about a week or two.

I just confirmed that as well Sm. Naboo Style 2 is the round house that only takes up 1 lot.

Well- I checked this right at the source (doh! I looked at my skills screen) and I was mistaken! Efficiency IV is the 20% stucture discount - Master Merchant adds reduced vendor fees not reduced structure fees! I do still see however that all my structures say "Master Merchant Discount - 20%. I am not sure if this was a change from one of the pubs or if it was always like that- but I just wanted to note that here!

Ok, I updated question 2.5, thanks Yals.
I put a note on the question about merchant tents to say that the rate is 10 cr/hr including the 20% discount for Efficiency IV.
I also noted that the 1 lot Naboo is the small style 2, round one.

Seems to me we are getting more frequent questions answered by this FAQ.
Maybe because the FAQ doesn't have its own sticky so people aren't finding it as easily?
