No. you have only been playing since the 13th of February...
and you are only given a holocron if you had a character from before Christmas. which you clearly didnt
Go and kill some dark troopers and loot their corpses or pay anything from 200K to 500K to buy a holocron off someone who is selling one!

i think one if not both of the jedi missions on dant now have a holo as reward.
SPACE, GCW, PvP, PvE, DWB runs

The dark jedi mission does give a sith holo, don't know about the light jedi as she won't talk to you after you do the dark mission..
Thanks to Vasarian Brandy I am now the town drunk and ONLY go to the AA meetings to brag about the killing spree done during my drunken rage.

Holocrons are a looted item. You can get them from killing random Npc's. I think Darktroopers, surface marshals, and force sensitives drop them.

no profession can make them. They used to be rare drop items to help guide you through the profession grinding to unlock your jedi. The gift was a one time thing. The system is being changed so jedi is not unlocked by professions anymore.

Just to keep any confusion away, the change is in the future and right now holocrons do still point you on your path to unlocking your force slot.

Hi, I just finished my first and only holocron on Friday July 1, and this July 4th, (Sunday) I tried opening another Holocron. When I opened it, it said something like:

"The ancients' can no longer help you on your quest to find the Force you must follow your own path now. (Not exactly what it said but I can't really remember.) I was just wondering if that's the same as a 'silent Holocron' or if it's just telling me that I can't do anything til Publish 10 when the quests come out. I think it might be important to know that i've mastered the following professions: Marksman, Brawler, Medic, Swordsman and now my first and last holocron, Commando. thanks for any feedback you can give me, I'm on Bloodfin server and my name is Nayga Byte.

means you have to grind professions until you unlock(or pub 10 whichever is first) this simply means that you have done 4 professions you need and that is all the help you get, you must now guess your silent profession(s)...enjoy and GL

Holocrons no longer work. I logged on an old character that still had their christmass holo and it said the same thing. This character has not mastered a single profession. It was created during a time when my main play server was down for one reason or another.
