lol probably not

First the Nazis came for the Communists, I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. After that they came for the Trade Unionists, I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. And then they came for me, but there was no one left to speak.

Well, I'm back in SWG after being off for a couple months due to finances. My, how things have changed! I spawned in the Kaadara Spaceport as a "Combatant" instead of covert, and found myself being peppered by Rebel NPCs. Once I talked to a recruiter and put myself on leave, things quieted down. Hehe....

But it looks like the pet-aggressiveness issue wasn't as much of a problem for me. I quickly hopped to Dathomir and mixed it up with the random spawns for a few hours and my pets all seemed to perform as expected, including my graul mauler. It could be my play style -- I tend to avoid using the Guard command while on planets densely populated with aggressive creatures and keep tight control over my pets, but I pulled out my mauler to tank a Singing Mountain Clan dragoon next to a malkloc spawn, and he behaved perfectly. I'd say the pet-aggressiveness issue appears to be fixed. And it was, erm, interesting to see creatures and NPCs duking it out, although a Rhoa KwiPack Leader tried to DB me after I was incapped by a Nightsister Stalker. And I am really glad to see the higher level of action with the random spawns. I'm still looking forward to checking out Lok, since the last time I was there, the planet seemed barren.

Due to certain jedi making me mad i'm back hunting the jedi down once again. After a year break from the profession I plan on killing as many jedi as i can. My templates going to be master rifleman carbineer 4404 and 3400 BH. Yes i know this wont work too good at the time against jedi but hopefully after CU i own some jedi with the carbine.

and the rituals that fade away, and the roses that cease to be laid, and it's clear to me that we're one foot in a very shallow grave

Well, I loaded SWG back up, did the hellishly long updating (don't own a physical copy of JTL and bought ROTW... oops), and discovered, I kinda like the CU changes. It's like playing a sequal almost... same engine, ever so slightly better graphics (nifty partical effects), more options... Only thing is, this is an mmorpg and everyone I was friends with has moved on to other games. I'm lonely! There any smuggler oriented guilds on Bloodfin or any of you on another server want to help me out so I can join in on the fun? I promise I don't leave permanent marks when I bite!

WB.

I don't know of any total smuggler guilds, but I can tell you without a doubt that hardcore, knowledgable smugglers are a hot commodity on bugfin, especially for PvE. You could make a post on the boards and prolly get picked up by a guild in almost no time flat.

If it's not that easy, you can send me (IGN corbin) a tell and I'll help ya if I can.

Hey all, I'm not too sure who of you remember me, but I have decided to re-subscribe to SWG to check out the new changes. There's been quite a few changes made sinse last I have played. I hear that ranged weapons are pretty well balanced now. That's great to hear for this long time carbineer.

I see TA is still alive and kicking. That's awesome. I also see much of the old FAQ is still up. I assume that means much of that data still applies? I hope so, so that I don't have to re-learn too much.

Anyone else around from back in the day that I may remember? Don't be shy... say "hey."

Well, I think all those patches are just about done downloading. I can't wait to get in the game and see if I still have all my old Kryat carbines and my armor. Did they nerf/fix any of that stuff in the combat update (which took a hell of a long time coming out I might add, but I hear it's cool).

See y'all around. It's great to be back!

the FAQ needs to be update the combat system was completly changed, so therefore the FAQ is a little behind, and TA, and others are working on getting the new one running.
