Yep, looks like all you should need. Very strange.

Ok... so I head out with a bunch of guildies to go hunting in the wilds of Tatooine -- lvl 82ish critters, mostly. I've got my trusty plasma and I'm rooting and setting half the world on fire. Life is good! The group breaks up and I decide to go see what I can take on.
I find an adolescent krayt! yummy! Only lvl 77, so he falls easily. Look! A giant lvl 81 over there! I can take him! charge!
I pull out an old laser rifle and tag him. let him get about 30m and root him to the spot. Now I pull out the plasma to get serious. Close to 23m and start the BBQ. This is when thing go badly. After two-three shots, the plasma stops firing. I'm pounding on keys and nothing happens. Switch to pistol.... everything is fine. I'm firing off at max rate. Back to plasma.... nothing. Needless to say, the dragon retreats.
I was very careful to check: I have almost full HAMs, I have no count-down running, I am within range, I have a default attack set (doesn't matter if I wait for default or pick an attack), I have the weapon equipped (just making sure). When I pound the keys, I get a hollow clicking sound and the hot-key on the screen is surrounded by a red box.
Anyone have any idea what is going on?? This only seems to happen when I'm soloing something big. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong so I can keep the BBQ going!

Made some lights and they don's seem to be on when I place them.
Is there a way to turn these on?
What am I missing?
Thanks

There are some old schematics for lights that could be made back in the days before lights actually lit.
About the only way to tell these apart is to look at the experimental qualities section of the schematic.
If it says "Quality" or something like that, it won't light up.
If it says "Lifespan" it's the one that should turn on.

When you say lights, you don't mean streetlights, do you? Because those only come on at night. Also one of the floor lamps doesn't light up. One of the blueleafs I think.

Oh yeah, I forgot about streetlamps.
I think it's the blue leaf but there's a couple of the tabletop/desktop lamps like that too.

Streetlamps are tied to the day/night cycle of the planet they're on.
It's neither day nor night in space.

Ha, so this is why I have 2 schematics for some of the lamps?
Yup those lights that have 2 schematics for identical products are lit and non-lit versions of the same light, i think the non-lit ones actually use more material than the lit ones (cant be sure unless ingame tho)

Hmm, would be nice to have a permanent 'night' cycle in space, methinks.
