in-game Obi could almost buy a nice couch!

we need missions to give out less money, more money sinks and a limited amount of credits. the devs need to create a credit cycle. The mission terminals give out credits, taxes and other money sinksgive money back to mission terminals. right now there is just more and more and more and more money on the market, as a result prices are just going up and up and up and up. it is pretty basic economics if you think about it.

so lets start making a list of money sinks there could be:

income taxes-would be taken off of mission terminal earnings.

Gambling-this is already ingame but it needs to bigger. we need to see casinos, not just a few tables in cantinas on Tat.

Sales taxes-would be taken off of item sales.

post your money sinks!

I see you registered back in July, how about you delete your character and start over as a complete newbie with no friends and then post the same thing.

I think players who've been around longer (and are richer) tend to post things like this. I don't really see prices climbing for things. Shop around. There are always going to be discount sellers and gougers. And then everyone inbetween.

I guess you can see it as a money sink tactic, but one buyer lamented to me that there really wasn't much to spend credits on after a while. He bought a large house and asked about getting a pa hall or city hall just to get the biggest structure that could be had. I think there should be more structures more things to buy.

to be honest a fighter can make way faster money then a crafter, when u compare the work.

i got also a fighter char. dont think of newbies but an adv fighter can get so easy 10k credits or even more with 1 mission and he has fun while fighting to.

My favorite was some guy whining on forums today about decay that his composite cost him a whole 450k and he doesnt wanna lost it. I lost that much last night to critical failures to make the schematics.

I also have a TKA that can do about 500k a 4 hour night on general Dantooine missions. I don't mind fighters having a endless money source, I just tire of their whining to have to pay for anything.

Are you kidding me? you think tipping is absurd? Everytime you make a weapon and sell it we pay you for your services (the resources it took to make that weapon). Why shouldn't you have to pay for the services of a doc? I'm a master doc and don't get xp by healing anymore and i spend money on resources so i can craft stims and wound packs, why shouldn't i be compensated?...not to mention the numerous timse i've cured disease for free (try getting rid of that one yourself). Some people tip and currently the only way i can make a living without any combat skills it to either sell my buffs or sell my stims at a vendor.

tell me you were kidding about socializing medicine
