Welcome to the community, as far as credits for slicing goes, charge what you feel is fair for your time. I use a % based system that goes from 2k to 8k a slice. Other smugglers use a 5k or 10k flat fee, bottom line is what ever you feel is fair for you.

As for slicing... A scheme I use to use was a flat out 10k no questions asked or a scale system.
5k for 11-19%
10k for 20-29%
15k for 30-45%
But, usually that comes out to be more work then needed so I either say " I usually charge 10k " and then give em a price for what I believe is suitable. Usually if you do not set a price, and its a good slice, people will pay extra.

I don't recommend charging X per % because it implies that we have some control in the matter. Now that you're a master, I recommend charging 10k per slice, and 75k for a full suit of armor. If you get hassled, I recommend using the buff argument (15k for a 3 hour buff, but 10k is too much for a permanent upgrade?) Good luck; I, too am grinding smuggler again.

Congratulations. I have never set a fixed fee with slicing. See what you feel is fair and the market will bear. Seems to be anywhere between 3 and 10K per slice, depending on the person, economy, et cetera.
