Btw, they have an annoyingly large footprint for their size. They should behave more like the Naboo Small type two, with just an extension of the footprint in the door area... not an all-around 9X artificial size increase of square footage consumed compared to square footage within the structure. This greatly limits their usefulness (not that they can't still be put to good use, but they could have been so much more flexible, rather than the building-repellant that they are now).

hmm, maybe the building repellent was intentional. Not much good to put up a tent to have it completely blocked from view by surrounding buildings. Of course, it does wipe out any chance of that packed in like sardines bazaar look.

what if you give up efficiency IV after you place the tent? will the tent still be functional?

What's a good rate to sell Merchant tents at? I haven't ever seen anyone sell them before, and someone is trying to order some from me. *embarrassed*

Nope, like placing a cantina or hospital, it's skill based. Merchant tree to be precise.

Anyone can use a merchant tent though. Have a friend with Efficency IV put one down and give you admin rights to it. With Admin rights, you can declare residence, pay maint, and create vendors, store items etc. Just like a one lot house.
Not sure if you can transfer ownership though. I'll give that a try later and see.

Just a quick question, how much space do you get in them???
