Hola all.

I have been playing since week 3 and an architect not too long after that. Thanks to all of you for this thread. I am still suprisesd at the amount of times we can have the same conversation on this board. I have been reading this same argument since August - there is no right or wrong answer - perhaps we should just make a sticky out of it and move on to other things.

Anyway.

I enjoy the game and this is the first time I have posted here. I am an architect whose primary goal in the game is to have fun -and my definition of fun does not include running a successfulbusiness. That's not right or wrong, good or bad, better or worse than any other playstyle - it's just my playstyle. I make a few million selling harvesters then blow it helping friends and n00bs (with perhaps the occasional skinsuit fer me here and there - hehe) - rinse and repeat. There are a lot of players like me in game who dont post. I think you'll find that we are many of the "idiots"out there selling heavies fer 100K.I amnot trying to ruin the architect economy - I'm sure it will take care of itself, as all markets do.

So if y'all (southern term meaning you all) are ever out by the Camelot Mall (Tatooine/Sunrunner) and need a Harvester fer 100K stop on by.

Thank you.

Ramhorn ya the hologrind ending is dropping demand. And with the same number of architects supply is the same. Demand goes down supply stays same and prices will drop. That will happen until the architect population decreases and supply goes down to the point that supply and demand are in balance again.

My personal theory is that we just passed that point on my server at least.

No. Not at all. I was refering to how they have been going down in general.

I've not seen 2 cpu on my server for anything other than small houses.

in that case lower prices dont bring anything either, but hurt yourself

Its competition. If the guy with the lower price gets the sale then he gets the sale. THe guy that looses the sale is the one that hurts more. As long as the guy with the lower price is still making a profit (measured by them) then they are not hurting in their eyes.

If Kmart has Levi's for $28 and Walmart has Levi's for $29 then that doesn't mean that K-mart is only hurting themselves.

It seems to me that people are all but unwilling to pay more than 100k for newbie BER13's. I made a run of 25 BER13 Minerals with 125,977 hoppers, and they sold at 160kc in a couple hours, but in the same city someone selling BER 13's with 103k-106k hoppers at 110kc didn't sell but a couple.

here comes the main point.

a harvester is NOT a usable product, not everyone need it and its not using up. so its about luck to get someone who is tired of empty vendors into your shop and you got it stocked. then he will buy it.

you never can expect that its selling on daily bases, cause of the demand is not that high and will drop alot also after pub 9 is life.

simply expect such and dont worry to much, its a low demand product by time. most who need harvesters got them, and them who will need in future (new players) will buy it, no matter what price there is. thats why its so stupid to lower prices to increase sales on them, since if demand is 0 then even u wont sell it for 1cr

keep your pices and them stocked and u will always sell to ppl who need it.
