Thread: Crafting XP
Hey guys,
Ok...when I make stimpacks and health/action woundpacks and sell them on the bazaar...and someone else buys and uses them, do I get any xp for that? I know that you do with other things, like weapons and armor...but what about chemicals?
can someone please point out what is the best item to craft for the crafting xp line?
i am making bio effect controllers, but it takes FOREVER.....
any help is appreciated
thanks
yeah i hate grinding also, but, it needs to happen because i can use the B's, but can't make them
1014.... blah
i just can't seem to find anything that will give more than 10-15 xp.
Make sure you are using more than one crafting tool.
I usually have 3 going at all times when grinding xp.
That way you aren't waiting for the part to finish.

Do we get more for crafting a D kit as opposed to a C kit? also do you recommed grinding all the components by hand or using a factory to speed building Stims?
The more complex the product, the more xp you get. So to answer your first question, yes I do believe you get more xp for making a D stim over a C stim. I grinded stims and built components in my factory. I found building stims a lot more rewarding than grinding a bunch of components. I could make cash and xp that way.

Yes and No.
If you need xp to get to the next crafting skill box, then you should do all the parts by hand. HOWEVER, some of the upper level meds, particularly the C level and higher stuff will REQUIRE factory made subcomponents. I.e. A rangedC requires 2 liquid suspensions from a factory crate (same Serial number), A rangedD requires 2 identicale LS's AND 2 identical BEC's.
The highest xp ive goten is frome adv Infection amps, 50K xp in 2 houres ![]()
124 xp a pop
There's a post on the Bio-Eng boards about macroing. Personally I ground to Master Chemist in 1 1/2 days using Adv Bio, 36 resources 80 xp. With the macro all you have to do is load the resources the rest is automated. You can even loop it by adding a pause at the end long enough for the 1st of 4 tools to drop the product, and when your inv gets close to full just move the icon to a different toolbarSlot and delete all the ones in your backpack. Don't use high quality products, save those for what you'll sell.
Blain Ravenhood, Tarquinas
Skywalker, can you please post a reference to the BE macro post, or post it here.
My wrist is getting tired of all the crafting. I have four crafting tools running in parallell whenever I'm resting, waiting for a flight, or have run out of stims. Using Enter helps to speed thing up, but to automize even more would be so good!
