My input on PA's vs Cities
Have you ever noticed how there are multiple GUILD halls in many of the various cities? And have you noticed how they look remarkably like PA halls? Not just one hall in a city, but several. Not just one guild, but many. Therefore, a PA (or guild) a city does not make. A Player Association is merely a single faction of people within a larger organization of people. It takesseveral different factions to create a functional city. No single PA should automatically be the deciding balance in a city. This is not to say that cities cannot or should not be formed around a single PA, but simply that a city should have and can have multiple PA's within it's structure.

Would you please stop obsessing about furniture? Good god....
No, because with these changes, half our skill tree is has little or no use. I went from selling a good amount of furniture to selling nothing, it was the best profit margin item I had.
I think furniture is possibly one of the most important aspects of our profession. People only buy houses every once in a while, but they buy lots and lots of furniture. If we were able to customize the furniture, and have it actually DO things, this might become an economically viable profession.
As for my two bits, I would like to see storage items that don't count their inventory towards the house item cap, and lights that actually do something. The biggest complaint I get is that people can't stand those awful white interiors on the generic houses. So either lights, or maybe being able to change the walls.
One idea that I had before to make housing more interesting, was to make them immovable once placed. That would make a few important aspects of housing emerge. For one thing, we could have an actual real estate market, with people slapping down houses on a cool location, and then being able to sell the house and land at a higher rate because of location, location, location! Also, it would make people be a little more careful with their house placements. Right now, I generally run around with a small house deed and just pop it down when I decide to place a group of harvesters for a while. It's a lot easier and safer for us non-combats, but not very realistic unless these are supposed to be inflatable houses or something.
The owner of the title could destroy the house at their will, but not be able to remove it and get the deed back. It could be sold to another party, but as a pre-existing structure. If someone wanted to put down a big house or a PA, they would first have to buy out the landholders there, just like a developer has to buy out the existing buildings in RL.
That's my two-bits.

Sorry, perhaps this was already addressed, today my reading desire is limited..a bit frustrated.
I would like to see the top issue to be Storage for houses.
At 75 units per lot this gives me only room to store 150 items in my medium tattoine house. I am at a loss. I do not want to remove the small amount of furniture I have in there now. I have two empy rooms that I haven't even decorated yet. I curently use labled back packs to organize my resources.
I understand that the devs say they are working on this, but they do not intend to increase the capasity to where we used to be.
This problem makes it a pain to be a crafter and will make it even harder to sell houses.
Storage should not have anything to do with lots... it should be based on the size and type of the house.
Sorry.. I have just gotten so angry with the last patch and the 75 limit fix is still a major joke to me. I don't know why SOE and Lucas Arts are trying so hard to get me to cancell my subscription.
The #1 issue right now for me is that factories are broken with the latest patch. I can't make PA's, Heavies, or anything that required identical parts, without dealing with the same problem as what we used to see with the Power Cores.
I'm stuck not crafting anything until this issue has been resolved.
What Factory problem? I've been able to make indentical parts all day without a problem?
It's identical to the old Power Core factory bug. You have the materials in the input, you start it, after a short period (The time to make 1 item) the factory stops, with 0 items made, & it's eaten the resources for 1 item. Instead of just power cores, it's happening with all kinds of items, and has been reported happening on Equipment Factories as well.
When we're talking walls, that's a pretty critical bug. It SEEMS like it might be server specific. It's happened to people that have made new schematics since the change, people have re-deeded & re-placed their factories, they've done voodoo dances around the factory first, etc.
The Power Core bug was THE most frustrating thing about making PA's, and until I have confirmation that the factory issue is fixed, I'm simply stockpiling resources. For obvious reasons, I don't hand craft anything I make, because of the silly failure rates we get. I don't like the idea of wasting a wall, simply to find out the bug is happening to me too.
How about colors for furniture (like loveseats, couches, etc?) That orange looks garish in a Naboo house, in my opinion. We should get new color options for our furniture (as applicable of course) at the same rate that tailors get it for clothing.
Variety is the spice of life, after all. I'd like to see flowers, anything with hide... really anything that has color to it be able to also be crafted with color.
(Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I didn't see it doing a quick search.)
thats an absolutely wonderful idea.
The only problem i can see with it is, its possible they specifically made ore deposits with low amounts so that it would be harder to get ore for structures. Everything else can be found at 90% on a pretty constant basis and yet the ore is 90% of the time stuck in the 60-70% area.
In beta we tossed around a few ideas like..
Make a harvester that pulls from a seperate pool of resources that lasted a little longer than the normal shift.
And simply putting the abilities of the harvesters back to where they were. They got uber nerfed towards the end of beta. The smalls used to be 5% and then got lowered to 2%.
Or make an architech only harvester (must be an Installations 4 to get these) where they equalled the power style pulling of harvesters. (5%, 8%, 13%)
