I don't know what is 'off-topic' about this post, as the site SWGCraft has more to do with SWG than half of these posts here.
I also want to know what's going on with it. so will keep this bumped as long as I can.
Ya know - some people use SWG Resources, or used too. It's linked from the main page here under Fan Sites. They have a live resource look up tool - and some of the same things SWG craft did also.
Their terminal and trainer locations are borked in some cases, as are some of the schematics because whoever built it used a lot of info from Beta - but the resource pages work just fine - it's just not a lot of people update them because they used swgcraft.
You don't need sites like this to play .... it just makes it easier.

And this is on topic because it has more to do with swg than most posts here.
I've found a surveyor on Scylla who provides a daily update service... but it's a paid service. For the amount of time I am saved it's worth it.
If you are from Scylla and are interested.. the fee is 300k credits/month.
If you are the owner of SWGcraft... I am willing to host the Scylla database on my server (PERL/PHP/MYSQL support).... private message me here if you can give me the source code.
I wouldnt use that other site if you paid me - too many ads for information that's supplied by players. It's obviously not been updated for a while as it doesn't even include the euro servers.
If swgcraft doesnt come back soon I'm willing to start up a Chimaera resource list, would be interested to hear if any one would help. One resource category per person per planet.
Youve been paying 300k/month for what swgcraft gave for free? ouch...
Anyway we need to get this great site back up! If anyone can find trokk we'll do what we have to help him get it back online!

I am also wondering if it has something todo with copyright infringement, especially if they locked a post about it on the boards.
If it had goes down for any reason other then either the ownerwanting to give up or not being able to afford the ISP fees, swgcenter.com would have gone down too. Jesus Christ, what's next... the black helicopters are going to take you to Area 51 to feed you to JFK and Elvis?

You might try http://www.swgcenter.com . Looks like it's not used much yet, but seems to have a great database for just about everything, including resources.
Might as well find a new home for all this data somewhere...
