I also didnt see much problem in it, until i got a rebel jedi.

One of his guildies came out and started giving me crap, saying he is gonna ban me and my guild from the RA on bria lol I kept tellling him im a BH first REBEL second, anyone on the terms will be picked considering im not gonna go around and waist my time when there is no way of knowing if they're rebel or imp. I even said i dont like hunting rebels so i give them to option of paying me my mission and i wont hunt them again. He was still throwing a fit.

After that incident I was pissed for the fact that he threatend me and my guild becuase he didnt want me playing my proff and if i did i would be boycoted and excommunicated(whatever the hell he was saying) so i decided to go NEUTRAL, it takes out alot of the fun i had being overt but saves me the hasil of dealing with adults(i thought kids were bad!) who take the game wayyyyyyyy too seriously.

Now i cant take anymission without worrying about faction flames.

Not me, go neutral if you cant stop killing the very persons who might save you on the battlefield some day. I've even let ppl who I know are imps and hunt imps die in PvE and PvP without healing or helping them just because they hunt same faction jedi.

If its a dumb@$$ behind the controls of the Jedi, or a fightclubber, I'll kill them without hesitation.

I normally don't same faction hunt, for roleplaying reasons, unless the guy has demonstrated he is classless.

However, it can be justified from the following arguments:

1) Rebel-v-Rebel: This is tricky, but consider the following. Rebel Jedi draw more attention to the Rebellion. Recall at this point that the Empire has not really mobilized all its resources against the rebellion. Only in ROTJ did the Empire gather a huge force to try to wipe the rebellion out. Taking out Rebel Jedi who have drawn attention to themselves (thus increasing the likelihood of a major Imp offensive sooner) may lessen the attention the Empire gives what it views as an "insignificant rebellion." (Palpatine's words, not mine).

2) Imperial-v-Imperial: Palpatine and Vader are Sith, and thus Dark Jedi are a threat. Dark Jedi may rise up and try to overthrow him (I know I would if I were a Dark Jedi).

I still don't same faction hunt, but it can easily be justified.

I have no qualms about it myself.

Here's why:

1. You're helping teach them about how to be a Jedi. If they're on the terms, they screwed up.

2. You're also doing them a favor. What better way to help a Jedi then get him off the terms so he has a couple free days of grinding.

3. He's a Jedi. The role of a Bounty Hunter trumps any sort of faction out there.

4. The only reason to go neutral is if you want to avoid the social flack from other guilds complaining about rebel vs. rebeling killing. Maybe they haven't noticed, but there is a war against Jedi out there and it trumps any sort of faction.

5. If you go neutral you get screwed by the TEF system. Every mark will be able to run into a private house or do whatever they so please while you cannot. At least as a rebel or imp, Jedi of the opposing faction will be properly TEF'd.

6. If you are already a faction pre BH and you don't have the time to grind out that -5000 faction to +200 faction to switch sides, then you shouldn't be penalized.

The perfect solution would be adding a Jabba (or just general freelance) faction for BHs and allowing them to get perks from that. Think of it like moving 'Privateer' to the ground game. If the Bounty Hunter was a Freelancer on the ground, if you was going after Rebel or Imp Jedi the TEF would work properly. Not only that, but people would stop unneccesarily flaming BHs for killing Jedi.
