Thread: Failures unacceptable

Look guys, the game is such that you can fail on any combine. You can whine all you want, but it isn't going to be changed. The chance of failure is always there; it is a fact of life. Learn techniques to mitigate failures. Add cost of failure into your prices. Adapt.

If you find that crafting isn't fun because of the failures, start another career. Failures are a fact of life and will always be, ESPECIALLY for the high complexity items such as fusion plants and the monster PA Hall with its 45 complexity.

And for all of you crying in your milk, remember that there are people in other games that spend months working toward one combine (e.g., shawl quests in EQ) and when they fail it REALLY hurts. I attempted my 6th shawl 3 times and 7th shawl twice -- that was real pain. You get up and you do it again, or you give up. This game is tame by comparison.

The big items should have the element of risk, always.

Just my opinion.
