Thanks everyone for your advice. It's greatly appreciated. For the past week I've simply backed off and decided to just make the clothes when needed...hey I'm a girl, I get tired of wearing the same thing and my husband sometimes wants to change his look too. I grind when I'm bored, ya know, like when I don't feel like doing missions, hunting to get CH xp or when hubby has work to do and can't play with me...hehe, as he looks longingly at my monitor while I play. Neener neener. *evil grin* Anyway, I think some are right, just be a tailor. Enjoy it, don't worry about xp and making master. As I always say, and now find it applies to the game, "it's the journey, not the destination".

Thanks again!

I think since patch, no matter the clof the baby, you will only get the amount of xp you'd get as if it were an adult. It is still true that the higher the mob, the better xp you get from the same pet. Its also still true that the pet only needs to do damage once to get the xp.

Since they also nerfed the amount of xp you get for having 2 pets out, that doesn't help much either. Before, many people would go up the management line in order to call 2 pets out and get double the xp. No more.

CH is a bear now that they put this in. I'm glad I was able to master it before this went into affect. Read some posts below about taming babies and then training it all the commands you can. This may be the fastest, yet most boring to do. Also, get into big groups, where people kill things faster and sic your pet on everymob you can beforethe mobdies.

you have to be joking... please say its not so... 300 exp per huurton kill? i get like 4400 unarmed exp for one of those... and when 17500 is needed for just the very first skill its gettin kindda silly to even try gettin CH

It's much more efficiant to go around looking for babies. after a few skill boxes you getover 1000xp for even the lowest of babies.

If you must use combat take a weak animal (paralope, carrion spat) and attack low level mobs outside the cities. 100xp per usually. Find a good prey (mine is putrid decay mites).

I think xp is calculated using your pets Half level, but only if your using a level 45 (when full grown) pet to take out Gnorts. If your pet's level is lower than your target it should be using its actual level.

You're not doing anything wrong. I recently start CH because, as a crafter, I never got out of the basement of my house. I have given up crafting and am training pets to go along with me. I am a 1/1/1/2 and using a rock beetle. I have several better pets growing in my datapad right now, but this is the best exp for me right now. Along with being a craftsperson, I also dabbled in commando. I am a 0/0/4/0 commando, meaning I have flamethrower 4 and nothing else. I have grouped lately with a 2/2/2/2 TK/pistoleer and made incredible progress in CH. Adding it all up, I have made over 100k experience in 3 days while grouping with this TK. I am getting around 300 exp per kill on things like Bolle Bols in southwestern Naboo. Even with this low experience, I find that when running 4 missions for bol's (his 2 and my 2) I make just over 5k CH experience.

Best advice... group up with another character who wants to gain combat or weapon xp....

Ok, made the armor, with kinetic layers. Got 80% Kinetic and 75% Electricity but the rest of my resists are 41-47%. What can I do to increase this?

When you made your layers and segments, you let the base resist value get too low.

Remember for composite, the base resist and the kinetic add up, so put some more points into the base resists as well.

Yeah it sounds like maybe your segments were too low base resist. Trythree 7% kinetic layers, and then experiment the segment on base as high as you can. Try for at least 20% base on the segments to get into the 50's. If you do it right and have good resources then you should get into the 60's. Actually everything depends on the resources. Make sure you dont have some really low OQ or SR resource in there. It can make a huge difference. Sometimes I've noticed switching from a 500/500 wooly hide to a 900/800 wooly hide alone can make a difference of 2 or 3 points alone.

I'm grinding armorsmith (with hopes to finish it today) and i'm 3002.
So i'm supposed to make ubese shirts in order to make it faster than using only the AUKs, but the fact is that although i have the ubese (as the chitin) sets on my datapad schematics, and i have 35 armor assembly, I can't make chiting or ubese (complex. 30) because thay don't appear on the crafting tool.
I'm using 14.67 clothing and armor crafting tools and i'm near a public clothing and armor crafting station, but i can't make the ubese shirts.
What am I doing wrong?
