I am sorry, but this report does NOT reflect the majority of the arhictect's top issues.

You posted a preliminary reportallowing us to give you feedback.

You ignored our feedback and sent your report EXACTLY as your initial draft.

On top of that, you throw in your OWN personal request. I don't want YOUR personal request in OUR report.

Unbelievable...

IN regards to people mentioning our correspondants "personal request", this could be something that was asked of him to do from the devs that asked him to BE correspondant. Before you knock him for adding that part in... know all the facts... if he wasn't asked to put that in... I agree...w as not very tactful.

As a Correspondent I am allowedone personal request, which I forfeited to address a major concern that the community expressed.

Why do you abhor structure decay?

I don't want to have to ever build my house again, its enough to have to build for others. Decay I would not welcome. I believe there will be other things for us to build soon and those that stick with the profession will have more than enough to do. Decay in small harvesters maybe since they are cheap and easy to make and perhaps though I don't really like the idea mediums. Heavys definately not they are a pain in the *cough* to build once I have mine I doub't I will build heavys again.

Also I don't believe that report while well written really adressed any of our biggest issues. Not that the report wasn't good it was.. just not appropriate for our first 5 top issues.

I am not to sure of the item decay part. I would find this acceptable is maintanance fees were done away with.

Then again, how many would like to move into a new house when their house is packed full?

I believe that he meant things like furniture, crafting stations, etc. I can't see em making things like houses, factories, etc non durable...

As a correspondent you misrepresented your personal request then.I didn't realize you took a poll within the community where everyone agreed that the decay of housing was our end all answer to economic health. From my viewpoint, the community is split on this issue. Some want it, and some do not. Furthermore, if housing decay was such a major issue then this should have been listed as one of the top issues, not listed as your personal request.

In your personal request you offer up what you feel is a 'solution'. Correct me if I am wrong, but your solution comes out of no where, andwas never offered up for discussion. If you took your "personal request" slot and used itto address a major concern of the community, then you also should have represented the communitywithwhat they considered would be a viable solution.

Finally, your 'personal request' represented more than half ofthe entire report.

Hehe, after seeing how the Corrospondents are getting treated by the community, I would not be surprised to see SOE shut down the program in acouple months.

The problem with their first round of Correspondants is that they were apparently chosen at random. There are a few correspondants (not for our prof. thankfully) that don't even play the profession they're meant to represent. You can see why people are a bit leary about the validity of the program.

On Item Decay:
Building decay is moronic. Who's going to buy a large house if they have to buy another one in a couple months? Silly. Do you know why tailors stay in business? "Repeat Vanity". There are tons and tons of players out there who just love to play dress-up, People who buy tens of thousands of creds worth of outfits. If through the construction tree we had different colors for furniture and housing interiors, people would buy different things JUST to have different things.

Did you mean "Buildings shouldn't be able to be repaired by simple adding more credits into the pool"?

Heh. Maybe you should ask for an Edit Button, Zar.
