Thread: Any other master arch's a little burned out by their city?

I don't have a city, though I've helped out with a couple. For now, I have two characters. My master arch, and a master CH. The CH is a lot less work, and a lot more relaxed. I got a little burnt out on filling orders - not the actual work of doing it, but the pain of the constant resource hunt. So lately, I've been taking off my Master Architect tag.. And using him more or less to fund the CH. When I run low on money, I turn the tag back on and stand around Coronet or Theed and do orders for a while.

During my architect downtime, I look for a good, recent resource.. whether I need it for my stuff or not. I drop all of my harvesters on it, fill them with power and maint and let them run until the resource pops. So I've been using my equipment for resource sales as well.. The money isn't quite as good, but it's better than leaving everything idle while I go take a break.. And much better than what I pull in with my CH (which is virtually nothing).

Right now, my goal is to complete a fleet of 12-13 BER's for mineral, gas, chemical, and flora's. Wait for the best resource to pop, throw down all of my lots worth of that variety.. Fill them up with power and maint for a week, and go have fun for a while. Since the only resource which keeps me from filling orders is usually ore, I can set down on a good ore spot once in a while when I find it.

It's not that I don't like Architect.. I really do. It's very challenging sometimes .. But after a hard days work, sometimes I don't feel like coming home and relaxing by being challenged even more .. I'm glad I have these two very different characters.. allows me to play by my mood.
