Thread: So your factory can Crit Fail?? Since when did that start???

very well known issue there on the consumption. The factory will spend the time, energy, and resources at attempting to make an item. If one piece, whether it be subcomponent or resources, is missing, it will consume all resources involved in that individual assembly and leave the subcomponents behind, and of course not make the item. This has been a problem for quite a while, then it dissappear for a month or so and then came back with one of the publishes. Not sure if it is a bug or not, but this is why i accurately calculate my resources needed based on my lowest common denomination of the subcomponents i through it. Being careless with architecture is going to cost ya. And remember, the windows calculator is only an alt-tab away.
Oh a few posts back, great information on the not completing a run for a large schematic. I thought that total items could be the case but obviously your data proves that most wrong, even a sucky factory holds at least 1500 items. I just haven't really witnessed this with my factories, so not even sure where to start on what could be causing it.
