A) Ore.
Surveying only to find ore to peak at 70% time and time again. Not fun.
Finding that peak only large enough to place 4 harvesters at peak. Not fun.
Surveying for metals in the same spot, and seeing huge swaths of high red numbers as far as the scanner can see. Not fun.
ORE IS ORE. There simply HAS to be more of it out there.Yet it is easily scarcer than metals, chemicals, even flora. Not fun.
Despite these facts, and the difficulty of getting ore, more ore goes into stuctures thanany other craftable item (except maybeChassis) Not fun.
Solution: Ore needs to have larger and higher peaks, and/or the ore requirement for stuctures needs to be dropped considerably.
The new Fermionic Siliclastic Ore is a really big helper. Although it only spawns on one planet, it's very easy to find a 85-90% or higher concentration where you can put down all the harvies you need. It also stays for 2 weeks (sometimes even a few days longer), so you don't have to worry about that.
As for the questions.
I've been a Architect for well over a year now, and I think I've answered questions like these a dozen times. No to diss Dvnce, but now I'd just like to see some things get done already instead of answering yet another set of questions. Especially the last one. I mean, come on, if the devs haven't got a list with our top issues at this very moment, then what have we been doing here? As for the new Architects (do they exist?), by all means answer the questions ![]()

Not to nit pick, and the Fermionic is a big help, but:
A) The single most used resource in the game (by units), ore, is still not the most widely avalible. This is a maddening gate.
B) Good luck getting that ore with a crafter when it spawns on an adventure planet after the CURB. From the looks of things we'll need the ore to be on our doorstep.

Harvest the JTL ore..it stays in shift for 20+ days and I have never found anything under 90%+ areas.
Why arent you all mining this every time it comes into shift. I have over 20M Units of Ore in backstock.
Am I missing something here...or are all of you..Archis dont need Great materials for Most of the stuff we need to build components for in harvs. Why not Drop down harvs on the JTL spawns for all the stuff you dont need stats for.
I dunno..just dont understand why everyone is complaining about this. To harvest resources for Archi is very easy. You just have to take advantage of the JTL spawns and once in awhile grab that Good Stat stuff for Mining Units and final Combine. You dont need as much good stuff as you do grind materials,

As far as the CU goes, it will be near impossible for alot of us to actually survive the survey trip to look for this ore, let alone drop the harvesters. God forbid it spawns on Lok or something. /shudder.

Basically JtL stuff has really weird names...Fermionic Ore instead of the usual Carb, Siliclastic, intru- and Extrusive ores we see. The metals are the same way.
1. What is the Funnest Part of Being an Architect.
Crafting and selling items. Walk around the city thinking "I made all these gardens and fountains". Make furniture and decorate houses.
2. What is the worst issue that impacts your Fun Factor while playing architect.
LOTS. Architect is one of the professions that use more resources. As a player with only 1 account my 10 lost are always occupied with factories (2 lots for the structure factory) andhouses, mainly for storing resources. We need more lots to place harvesters and to place warehouses for storing purposes. More lots please!
3. Out of the main issues or a new one that we have debated here what is the most Important issue that you would like to see resolved for our profession...
Apply decay to harvesters and furniture and...please....crate OMUs!
1. What is the Funnest Part of Being an Architect.
Running a successful business, and I would also have to agree that walking through a town and knowing you built all the structures in it gives me a warm fuzzy
2. What is the worst issue that impacts your Fun Factor while playing architect.
Amount of resources required. What's the one thing that is key when running a business? It is to have well stocked shelves... To do this with Architect requires several million units of resources, therefore several alts or lot trades are required.

Re-newable income is a must. Figure out a way to get us repeat business on a regular basis like WS or AS. No other crafting profession would be around if it wasn't for us, Architects are the driving force of this game.
