Well.. my interpretation from OP's request is he wanted specific answers from the devs not my interpretation.... and I am sorry but there is not any specific answers from the devs on this list..... but I will continue to push for them.. but I am not the only correspondent that demands /.demands and demands for more info and gets little.. Is that good to hear ? nope... but .. is this changing yes it is... in huge strides... as I said a few posts up... this is not all the softening to just hear me say this now.. since we have been hearing for the last year soe saying they are going to make things better... and we see how long that has taken.... but .. take the last 30 days and as being involved in the communication process I will say it is night and day better than 30+ days back to the beginning .. and that should give most of us hope....


1. What is the status of furniture colorization? a while back I did get a no new info but still on the table response...


2. When can we expect to see some new structures? I have said before several times.. that new structures are coming.. I have discussed with devs basic ideas behind what is on the planning board.... but this is a topic that nothing specific has been given to me that I can go into detail about.....


3. Why cant we make anything interesting like in the rancher house on tat? /shrug.... I do know there are alot of really cool structures in game... that would even be cool if they could at least be city decorations... that would be a perfect prize for a quest..


4, Can and will we ever see higher end looted factory parts? (like maybe a set of dropped mining units with a ber or 10 or something.. all other crafting classes have somethign like this..) I aggree 100% that most every other craft has a quest or loot drop.. and I am seeing this as becoming a higher issue on our list..


5. What is the chance of getting our factories down to 1 land plot (and if no chance what is the reasoning behind keeping it at 2?) It wont ever happen.... as I have said before in other posts... the items we make are what enables every other profession to excell in their craft... so .. we are a gate... to control the level of production of every other craft.. We were never Meant to produce at the level we reached in production.. yes this is not a direct quote but it is I feel a pretty darn good reading between the lines... However there is hope on some of our storage issues and that really is what the lot issues boil down too...


6. Every other class has had how the combat rebalance will affect them listed in part somewhere.. how (if at all) will this rebalance effect architect? well.. I am invited to the Combat Summit in Austin... So I would assume I wll be informed or learn of how the revamp will affect us there...


The problem is that with our profession not being broken and there being professions that are broken.. there is alot on the table for the devs.... is this acceptable answer NO.... this game has the potential of being one of the best ever created... and SOE needs to realize that bandaid fixes are not the solution.. but investing more resources in the production is the answer.. (like more dev support) .....


remember I am a player just like all of you .. I get no money for this.. I volunteer my time... because i believe in the game .. and I believe in the community i represent.... I know taking this role is not all fun and games.. and I know that you all hold me accountable forbeing your main tool of getting your needs heard.... well.. our needs have been heard.... they get heard all the time... and as I have said many many times... just because we dont see a post with a redname person tied to it does not mean that we have not had an impact....

I and a few others are pushing very hard for our portion of the game as well as the social aspect be giving the SAME amount of energy and focus and for us to be officially put on the working list.. for this massive attention...

Dvnce, maybe you've already thought of this, but one important thing to emphasize in all this is not just about enhancing the game for architects.


Practically all of the changes (additions, really) architects wantwill benefit EVERYONE playing the game. At the same time,manywill require very little development effort.


For instance, Architect-built Factional Structures will provide a huge boost to the GCW, the resources market (because they would be destroyable), and, yes, architects (and maybe weaponsmiths if their components are included), while at the same time requiringvery little development effort because, for starters,the end products can just be stuff that already exists (no new art, no new functionalities).
