Nice post LadyLeala, I use the hex colors for waypoint markers because they make them easier to locate when you bring up the list. Thanks for the link too. Up until now I was just experimenting with the codes. lol Yep that took a long time to do.

I've noticed that some of the signs are colored as well as outlined in another color. How do you do these special effects?
thanks

I'm not totally sure what you mean by "outlined". It could be that people are using text to make lines below the text. Like you could use the underscore or dash charachters " _ " and " - " to make lines of text like this
____
text
----
That what you mean?
Or are you talking about the different sign options that merchants get?

How do I end a color code? For example, if I only want one word colorized but I don't know the default color to change back to..?

Question since we are talking about customizing signs. I have seen many signs with breaks. For example:
Soandso's House of Junk
Vendor space available
Restocked 7/29
You know, that type of idea. How do they do that?

I always wondered what each number meant..
I just use Photoshop, click a color and it gives me the code lol

Please check the FAQ. There is an entry in the FAQ about this.
Whooops, Sorry about that. I had checked it previously. I just hadn't realized it went down so far! I have now bookmarked the FAQ. Great info =)
