Anyone else have any thoughts on realistic pricing for this? (Beyond 'whatever u can get a away with' )

I am a novice architect. I decided to become an architect to earn an income and because I suspect that architects may play a role in shipbuilding. I have a medium Naboo house and all my lots filled with a variety of harvesters. I have a fusion generator that supplies me with all the power I could need. I save the extra. It pays to find a good resource of radioactive ore to put the harvester down on. My other harvesters pretty much stay put and pulls whats there. I have 1 gas, 1 chem, 2 flora and three mineral harvesters. I have plenty of resources to sell for 2.5 to 6cpu depending on the stats and demand. I sell only on the bazaar and check it everyday. I keep it filled. If someone is selling a resource cheap I buy it all up and resell at a higher price. I look to see what resources are on the bazaar for sell and what voids I can fill. Sometimes I am the only one selling gas or berries or copper etc on the bazaar. I see bad stat resources selling for 3cpu. I sell bad stat rsources for 2 or 2.6 cpu. People buy it first. If I have a large quantity of something I advertise on the forums or shout out at crowded areas. If I know that I have a resource that a certain profession needs I will send emails to people i find through the profession search option. I started this last week and have earned 800k. But I have spent 450k getting better equipment and excellent quality resources i know i'll need to craft the best items with in the future. Plants and torches sell great on the bazaar.

Offer to build walls for training and nothing else, if the senior architect provides materials. This will save you the time and expense of harvesters. There are possibilities of fraud that may concern the senior architect (usually a master), but the senior will probably be wise to this possibility and won't risk more than a few days material at a time. I haven't tested, but I suspect a grinding novice is faster than a factory. I know I can usually churn out a wall module within 5 minutes while waiting for a shuttle. 235 walls gives you enough experience for master architect. Add 10-15% for the ubiquitous critical failures, and maybe 5% to finish walls in numbers the senior architect can use,and the expected cumulative time investmentisless than24 hours.

Does anyone have advice for mastering Architect as quick as possible, I was told there was a thread about how to grind through it, but I have been unable to find it.

You want to know about architects? ...

First place I'd look was the ARCHITECT FORUM.
Scarily obvious, eh? ... *Smirk*

Architect is very diffrent from armorsmtih weaponsmith or droid egny. Archtect requires huge amounts or ore and steel at 1 time. Simple way is too make wall moudules made master architect in 4-5 days If you have supplies rdy.

get a ton of ore and a lot of steel

make structural modules then make walls.

a wall takes 10 structural modules, 100 ore and 400 steel

a structural module takes 50 steel and 200 ore

It took me about 2 weeks to get master architect (i didn't have a boat load of credits)

Have fun

Yep Walls are they way to go, build small houses with the structure modules, or find a local arch that will buy walls off ya. Factories can make walls now but I would bet a local arch would still buy em off ya.

You'll never make it, so quit now. You are slug slime, and will never amount to anything. Your mother dresses you funny. When I think of you, I get nauseous.

I know this post must be a troll or just a lame attempt at humor. ;-)

I'm deeply sorry, but I don't have much patience with people who say "I don't have time to search". There are several posts here that deal with this exact subject that typically are on the front page. If you aren't willing to spend 2 minutes looking for them, why should anyone spend 2 minutes helping you?

If you're only goal is to make some money then I would recommend that you go into mining. Depending on your server economy architect might not be a money maker. And even if your server isn't bad for architect goods you might find it will take you a while til you can get so you're really profitable.

Mining is virtuallyinstant cash.

Course mining takes some lots, but so does the 2 lot structure factory and unless you're able to buy resources cheap then you'd want to mine your own anyway as an architect.
